MISSION 2023 PHNOM PENH
NW Medical Volunteers returned to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in January 2023 to work at the Khmer Soviet Hospital with Smile Cambodia. We were the first international group to return post Covid. We provided surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical scrubs, medical supplies, and a new anesthesia machine. We also worked with the Standish Foundation which provided Child Life Support and interpretive service to our patients. During the week we screened over 130 patients and performed over over 40 operations.
